"I've Never Played..." update

With this post the Knee-Deep in the Dead episode of Ultimate DOOM has been finished.  Below the last two episodes have been posted and you can find links to all 8 up in the video archive.  Also, you there is now a list posted of the games I have that I feel qualify for the show.  I hope you all will leave comments telling us what you thought of this first attempt and what game would like to see done next.

We have a particular game in mind ourselves that will be slight change in the format but this one will take some time so please gives some suggestions for something that can be done in the more immediate future. I'll be posting my handles from various game download services in the about section if there is a game you really want me to do and are willing to gift it to me.  Gifted games will take priority unless there is a large outcry for a particular game or if there is something I am really in the mood to play.

Please remember to keep game suggestions from 1977 to 2006. That may sound like an odd range but that's based on the beginning of 2nd generation of video game consoles and the release of the Apple II (the start of the 8-bit era) to the start of the high-definition graphics era. I may make some exceptions on 6th gen consoles with my year cap if there is a big enough call for it but there would have to be a large demand.

I hope you enjoy these last two episodes and will stick around to see what else there is to come for those of us here at Lunatic's' Lair.

"I've Never Played..." Episodes 1 - 3

"I've Never Played..." is where The Simulated Scholar goes back and plays classic games he couldn't play back when he was little. (More description later. I'm tired and I just want these posted.)

The First Post!

Welcome one and all to the First Post [stadium echo].  The whole point of this is to give me an idea of how I want to lay things out on this website/blog.  I'm currently re-learning HTML and learning CSS to attempt to make this place something worth looking at.  One day we may be able to afford a real website for today, we are here. Heck, being hosted on blogs is what many Internet reviewers due but we here at Lunatic's' Lair are striving to be more.  We're also big into costuming a.k.a. cosplay, depending on where you are.

Allow me to give you a quick run down of who we are and what we do here.
